Restoration - Body Work
While the body shop was stripping down what was left of my Chevelle's paint for some minor dent repair and a coat of primer, my next decision was a tough one; which color did I want to finally paint it?
I thought again about restoring the paint to the original factory color Sandlewood Tan, or maybe add some Metallic to that color since it was pretty drab, but I also thought something different, more modern would be a better choice altogether.
In the meantime I got a great deal on the bodywork and paint job by stopping by and working on it a little myself, cleaning, block sanding, etc., which was a great way to stay involved in my project.
